Step 1: Choose a Funding Opportunity

Step 2: Check Eligibility

Make sure your organization meets our Eligibility Guidelines.

Step 3: Submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI)

If eligible, submit an online LOI by one of the deadlines below.

2013 Grant Cycle Deadlines

Letters of Inquiry submitted by	May lead to an invitation for full proposal due	Applications considered at the earliest
July 19, 2013	August 23, 2013	December

Step 4: Foundation Review

Within 90 days, we will either: (1) request a full proposal, (2) ask for additional information, or (3) send notification that we are unable to fund the project.

Step 5: Submit a Proposal

If we request a full proposal, we will send a link to complete it online.

Step 6: Foundation Reviews Proposal and Responds

Proposals are reviewed by the appropriate Foundation staff member who may request additional information. We will send notice of our decision once it has been made, usually within 90 days of proposal submission.
