Debbie Pearl

Administration Manager

Debbie Pearl (she/her) joined Blue Shield of California Foundation as a senior administrative assistant in 2013. Before joining the Foundation, she worked as an administrative and event coordinator for Faire and Expo Management, specializing in women’s expos throughout the United States and bridal fairs in Northern California. Prior to that, she was a senior executive assistant to the president and CEO of Otis Spunkmeyer, as well as the company’s meeting and event coordinator and travel manager.

In her current role, she facilitates the work of the Foundation by managing the calendars and schedules of the senior program officers, program officers, and policy director, as well as arranging meetings with grantees, partners, policymakers, and various leaders in domestic violence prevention and community health. She also manages travel and logistics for conferences, speaking engagements, and site visits to grantee organizations. In addition, Debbie is responsible for handling expense reports, office management, Foundation meetings and events, and assists in any task that furthers the mission of the Foundation.

A Bay Area native, Debbie attended University of California, Los Angeles and San Diego State University, where she majored in journalism and public relations. She spends her free time finding new, unique, and fun things to do, and enjoys walking, movies, reading, and being with friends.
