Annie Wong

As director of finance, operations, and grants, Annie Wong (she/her) is responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting, financial management, and reporting for Blue Shield of California Foundation. Annie also oversees operations which include systems maintenance, data management, and the procurement process. Annie is also part of the Foundation's executive team, helping to drive our strategic planning, operational execution, and business measurement. 

Annie previously served as auditor at Deloitte & Touche and Franklin Templeton Investments. In her role as auditor, she worked with clients in health care, not-for-profit, and financial services industries. She joined Blue Shield of California in 2010 and led various teams within the accounting group focusing on technical accounting, financial reporting, governance, and audit management.

Annie is a CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business. She lives in the East Bay with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time and traveling with family, staying active, and baking.
