Perla Sanchez

Perla Sanchez (she/her) is a senior program manager in evaluation and data strategy for Blue Shield of California Foundation. In her role, she partners with grantees and Foundation teams to ensure that we are learning from all our work and able to measure progress toward achieving our strategic goals.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Perla worked as an analyst at Kaiser Permanente’s Division of Research, where she led data collection efforts and utilized her qualitative expertise to support multiple studies that focused on diabetes prevention programs, cervical cancer screening, and housing insecurity. Perla brings over five years of evaluation and mixed methods research experience to the team, as well as a passion for prevention strategies, health equity, and process improvement.

Perla graduated with a bachelor’s degree in American studies from University of California, Berkeley. She spends her free time checking out new movies and shows, baking, and playing with her dog, Stella Rose.
