TJ Swain

Rainbow Swain (TJ) is a program coordinator at Blue Shield of California Foundation. In her role, TJ supports the Program team with grantmaking and project management.

Previously, TJ worked in various roles as a bookkeeper, office manager, and executive assistant. She brings those skills to the guitar studio her partner and she founded, Don Balistreri | Guitarist. TJ and Don met in 2016 at a winery on Alameda's old Naval Air Station. In 2018 they moved to Tucson and purchased a home but missed their families & the Bay Area too much and came back two years later. Soon after is when they decided to open their guitar studio.

TJ now calls Alameda and the Bay Area home. In her spare time, TJ loves spending time with her two beautiful daughters and son-in-law, caring for her 15lb poodle mix, Nigel, and managing her guitar studio.
