Courtnee Hamity
Senior Evaluation and Data Strategy Officer
Courtnee Hamity, Ph.D. (she/her) is a senior program officer in evaluation and data strategy for Blue Shield of California Foundation. In her role, she collaborates with the Foundation’s program teams to design and execute evaluations that align with measurement strategies across the Foundation’s initiatives.
Courtnee is passionate about developing culturally responsive measures that promote fair outcomes, using both quantitative and qualitative means of capturing information and developing metrics that are directly related to the needs, preferences, and expectations of various backgrounds, experiences, and cultures. Prior to joining the Foundation, Courtnee was a principal consultant at the Center for Evaluation and Analytics at the Kaiser Permanente Care Management Institute, where she partnered with program design and implementation teams to lead evaluation efforts and support organizational learning.
Courtnee completed her Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley in health services research and policy. She also holds a master’s degree in health care management from Yale University and a bachelor’s degree in health policy from the University of Pennsylvania.
