Expanding access to restorative responses that promote healing, safety, and accountability to end and prevent domestic violence
Blue Shield of California Foundation (BSCF) is offering a new funding opportunity that will support investments in California to advance restorative, community-based approaches to preventing domestic violence. Details on an upcoming informational webinar are below.
To date, the Foundation has made a handful of investments in restorative responses that stop harm and focus on healing and safety for domestic violence survivors and families, including important insights shared in the Collective Healing and Transformation Project Evaluation Report. The Foundation is committed to building on these investments through this new funding opportunity that focuses on interventions outside of the criminal justice system that end cycles of domestic violence. This effort will fund projects from culturally responsive community organizations with a history of restorative and collective responses work that are ready to expand their efforts.
If you are interested, we highly encourage viewing the the webinar recording to assess whether your organization and program meet the requirements and would be competitive for this opportunity. After viewing the webinar and determining your own project alignment, you must submit an expression of interest (EOI), which will ask you for some basic information. Applicants must submit an expression of interest to receive the request for proposals (RFP). Once the EOI is submitted, the RFP information will be sent to you automatically via email. The deadline for proposals will be late February 2023.
