Mental Health Services in Medi-Cal

This issue brief from the National Health Law Program, and supported by Blue Shield of California Foundation, examines the changes to the California's health care system, noting that while the scope of mental health services has improved since the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, “it made delivery and access to these services more complicated.” The authors also explain the complexities and provide recommendations for improving delivery of mental health care services to beneficiaries.
