There’s a better way: public agencies centering equity in community engagement

The Equity Centered Engagement brief, developed by Onside Partners and ThinkForward Strategies, in partnership with Blue Shield of California Foundation speaks to how public agencies are centering equity in community engagement. We explore what it looks like for public agencies to center low-income communities and communities of color and how it can lead to better decision-making with greater health equity. We also share short case examples from California education and public health agencies that are actively using an equity-centered approach to their work.
