Jennifer Lin is a program officer at Blue Shield of California Foundation leading the Collaborating for Healthy Communities initiative. In this role, she manages the Foundation’s portfolio of grants seeking to advance breakthrough collaborative models that support community health and prevent domestic violence.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Jennifer was a senior advisor at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, where she provided philanthropic guidance and strategic planning to foundations, donors, and corporate grantmakers focused on a range of issue areas. Previously at the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation, she managed a portfolio of health and education grants. Her programmatic experience includes serving as development director of an international anti-slavery organization and as a case manager for survivors of human trafficking. She has also worked previously as a book editor.
Jennifer holds a B.A. and an M.A. in English from Stanford University. She is the board chair of CORA, a domestic violence agency and was co-chair of the Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy Bay Area chapter.
